Let the People Sing, Inc. is an organization dedicated to addressing one of the quieter crises in congregational worship: people have stopped singing. Whether silenced by embarrassment, comparison, or the simple belief that they “can’t carry a tune,” millions of worshipers stand silent in their pews every Sunday.
We believe that is not how it was meant to be. Throughout the history of the Christian church, the congregation’s voice has been central to worship — not the choir, not the band, but the people. Our work is to recover that voice, one person at a time.

Let the People Sing, Inc. serves local churches and the broader body of Christ across denominational lines, equipping congregations to recover the communal act of singing together.
The 96ONE School of Singing
The 96ONE School of Singing is our foundational curriculum for recovering congregational voices. It is named for the conviction that even one lost voice is worth finding — and that no one should be left out of the song.
The curriculum walks participants through a progressive series of lessons designed not to train professional singers, but to restore confidence, awareness, and joy in the ordinary singing voice. No musical background is required. No audition. No judgment.

Technology in Service of the Mission
To extend the reach of the 96ONE curriculum, Let the People Sing is developing a mobile application that puts a personal vocal coach in every participant’s pocket.
Lyra is an AI vocal coach built into the 96ONE app. She listens as you sing, responds to what she hears, and encourages you forward — never with judgment, always with warmth. Lyra understands that the goal is not a perfect performance but a voice restored to its rightful place in the congregation.
The app uses real-time pitch detection to help users hear themselves accurately, paired with exercises drawn directly from the 96ONE curriculum. It is designed for iOS and is currently in development.
